North Innsbruck’s Ritual
North Innsbruck is about to return with their second DarkSynth album, and most comprehensive and nightmarish work to date, Ritual. A record reflecting the macabre and grisly corners of a world plagued with political and religious infringements.
“Ritual explores the intersection of corruption and power, reimagining the sinister influence charismatic leaders can have over individuals, tearing apart families and splintering communities,” says Emblom. “We live in a frightening reality where religious zealots and corrupt politicians are using lies, desperation and fear as tools of division to leverage the pursuit of power.”

North Innsbruck’s Mindbender
Originally arranged, recorded and inspired during the global uprising in the Spring and Summer of 2020, the DarkSynth album Mind Bender finally released in early 2023. By transcending past releases and connecting with a new audience North Innsbruck was able to expand their sound through percussive refinement and powerful driving synthesizers. Consisting of 9 songs, Mind Bender pushes the bounaries of the DarkSynth genre by incorporating urgent songwriting with an aggressive sound. Through a creative partnership with Joshua Sterling-Briggs of Haunting Season fame, Mind Bender’s narrative outlines a fictional story of mindcontrol and murder driven by arcane supernatural forces. With cover art by Twin Cities legend Tim Monsters and Mixing & Mastered by Micah Johnson (Galaxy 80) Mind Bender is an outstanding example of artistic expression, boundary pushing electronic music and absolute mayhem.
Synth Massacre - Brutal Resonance Records
Part of a limited global casette release, the song Polymorbid is now avaialble on the Synth Massacre Compilation available through Brutal Resonance Records. Visit the Brutal Resonance Records Bandcamp page for more information. All profits for Synth Massacre are donated to the Villalobos Rescue Center. This center originally began as a wolf / wolf-hybrid rescue in the 90s, the facility now rescues all-breeds while maintaining its status as a non-profit organization. The service takes in around forty dogs a month, and adopt out forty to fifty a month. With costs of shelter, food, and veterinarian bills each year, the operating cost for Villalobos reaches upwards of four-million dollars or a more a year.
